I have the experience that is_link("/tmp/test/") failed, but
is_link("/tmp/test") is not, which is may be the expected behaviour, but it's quite
annoying, since I have path names stored in config files, and sometimes they are with "/"
at the end. So now I always rtrim() the "/" from the filename before I test them ...
