Note Submitter: joshi ---- Well, I've tried every possible variation of this problem, but it seems, that PHP is not running my script in the background at all. I need this script, to monitor a radio server port for activities and have my broadcasting program switch to that port, if any stream is running on it. This all works fine, unless I close the browser window, running the script. Is there a possibillity to 'tell' php that you want the script run forever, also with no browser open ?
