Interestingly, is_object returns FALSE on, uh, objects of type __PHP_Incomplete_Class (as detailed
in this bug report from >2002< http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=19842). get_class, on
the other hand, works fine, so you can replace:
if (is_object($value)) { ... }
With:
if (get_class($value) !== FALSE) { ... }
