Don't forget to lock your storage file using flock() before opening the file you wish to use to
store your serialized object(s)! PHP will make no attempt to prevent two threads or processes
from writing to your file at the same time and you can easily end up with a corrupted data store
unless you serialize access to your storage. (Note that using NFS for your storage may not be
lock-safe.)
