Regarding what Stephen said below: I've also encountered the problem, but strangely the
LIMIT/OFFSET clause seems to fix it. Example:
<?php
$result1 = $mysqli->query("SELECT * FROM news");
var_dump($result1->fetch_row());
$result2 = $mysqli->query("SELECT * FROM news LIMIT 20 OFFSET 0");
var_dump($result2->fetch_row());
?>
Output is like:
array(3) {
[0]=>
int(1)
[1]=>
string(8) "Example!"
[2]=>
int(8)
}
array(3) {
[0]=>
string(8) "00000001"
[1]=>
string(8) "Example!"
[2]=>
string(8) "00000008"
}
