Note Submitter: matt dot smith at itb dot ie ---- I use XAMPP for teaching and development what is nice is that it is available cross-platform (the "X" is for cross platform...) so can can just copy the "htdocs" folder between XAMPP on a PC or Mac very easy to use - of all the web server packages it's the easiest I've found to install and use :-) .. matt .. NOTE I just use these for development of PHP & MySQL systems for computing students and e-learning purposes - so I cannot vouch for security issues ...
