note 14621 added to ref.var.php

Hello People I want to create variables that remain available to all scripts on my web site, not just the one that makes them. I know I can use cookies for that, but that is not useful (cookies have to be set right before anything else and I need to set the variables accorind to a decision). How can I do this? Thanks Sam http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.var.php
