I know everybody is so concerned about the side of encryption and yet how so good it really is? My idea from a point of view is, is we know how much the element of "Time" is a true killer to us all! But in short, the element of time here can be a grand savior to us all. We'll first up, lets think about this theory ok? Who is to say when a user knows when they initially register or sets their password for their account? Thats rights? Buggered if I know! So why not setup your passwords so that you have a UNIXTIMESTAMP imprinted on the users password. Then you perform your MD5 and SHA1 encryptions??? My thinking is that if someone is to crack this kind of password would only mean that the person knows the exact time of registrering their password (or account). Now also be smart, if you use this theory smart enough you can also make it next to in-crackable. Advise here also would be most welcomed!!!! ---- Server IP: 117.104.162.229 Probable Submitter: 58.110.135.209 (proxied: 58.110.135.209) ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.md5.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/95231 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95231/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95231/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95231/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95231/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95231/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95231/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95231 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/95231 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
