AVOID ZERO BYTE ORDER MARK! I was having problems with include/require (once or not). I created an include-opening.php which had the initial structure of the page, and then included this page in all other pages. The result was looking "crashed", so I did compare including or just pasting the html code into the page. The hardcoded version displayed ok, even with the source code being exactly the same. So I opened the include file with notepad++ and set the encoding to UTF-8 (no BOM) and voila, everything is working great now. ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 200.232.165.39 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.include.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/95276 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95276/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95276/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95276/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95276/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95276/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95276/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/95276 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/95276 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
