Note Submitter: yonatan at epoch dot co dot il ---- After trying to create a trustworthy conversion from bmp to jpg with various ways (including ones which appear here), I found that the best & easiest way to do so is to use ImageMagick (http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php). ImageMagick is a GPL freeware and it can run both on Unix & Windows, a conversion for example is done like this: convert filename.bmp filename.jpg Or if u want to resize it: convert filename.bmp -resize 100x100 filename.jpg By the way, ImageMagick can do a lot more then just convert and well I highly recommended it ;)
