Note Submitter: ale at w3it dot org ---- PHP Version 5.2.12 with Apache 2.2 on windows Vista (and maybe others to be tested) LoadModule php5_module "C:/PHP/php5apache2_2.dll" as indicated in the install steps, make crash Apache on windows vista with PHP Version 5.2.12: the correct way to edit the httpd.conf file of Apache is: LoadModule php5_module C:/PHP/php5apache2_2.dll (without quotes). Another thing is that with PHP Version 5.2.12 on windows vista while the string for the php.ini instruction need to be added with quotes, pointing to windows folder in this way: PHPIniDir "C:/windows" but the php.ini file do not need to be present in the windows directory, it need to be present on c:/php folder,where i have install php. It is a strange behaviour, isn't it? hope this will help someone to save time configuring PHP Version 5.2.12 under Apache on windows vista (and maybe others)
