note 96372 added to mysqlnd.notes

After upgrading from php 5.2 to php 5.3 on Windows, I was unable to connect to MySQL databases on localhost. I eventually tracked the problem down to entries in my hosts file: It contained: 127.0.0.1 localhost [...] ::1 localhost Commenting out the second line fixed the problem. The problem is explained here: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=50172 ---- Server IP: 195.221.21.36 Probable Submitter: 83.199.64.131 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/mysqlnd.notes.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/96372 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/96372/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/96372/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/96372/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/96372/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/96372/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/96372/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/96372 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/96372 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
