One thing php desperatly needs, and i'm very surprised it doesn't have already, is the
ability to automatically send "Header('Content-Length: '. $filesize);" info when
using the imagepng(), imagejpeg(), readfile() etc. functions to dynamically generate a file. This
would be a great bandwith and/or server overhead saver(I've repeatedly implemented image
caching where it wasn't needed just to be able to send that info), as i'm sure you know. I
have no idea whatsoever where to send this suggestion, so I'm writing it here, in the hopes
that someone who can will pass it to the right forums. Thanks!
