In the other part of this manual there stands: | Note: The class implementing the interface must use the exact | same method signatures as are defined in the interface. | Not doing so will result in a fatal error. | [source: http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.oop5.interfaces.php] But here, this rule is broken: bool hasChildren(bool $allow_links) is not the same signature as bool hasChildren(void). Right? So where's the fatal error? Why does it break the interface rule stated elsewhere and HOW it is possible? ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 83.10.79.59 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/class.recursivedirectoryiterator.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/97041 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/97041/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/97041/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/97041/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/97041/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/97041/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/97041/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/97041 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/97041 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
