as of Sep-09 another option exists to return objects from mongodb as stdClass instances
mongo.objects = 1
for backwards compat. it defaults off
however, this doesn't appear to be in the 1.0.6 driver release, which was made much more
recently?
setting mongo.objects for me on a windows build of 1.0.6 returns only associative arrives
