Just a note for anyone who encounters is_dir() returning false on CIFS mount points or directories within those mount points on 2.6.31 and newer kernels: Apparently in new kernels they've started using the CIFS serverino option by default. With Windows shares this causes huge inode numbers and which apparently can cause is_dir() to return false. Adding the noserverino option to the CIFS mount will prevent this. This may only occur on 32 systems but I don't have a 64 bit install to test against. ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 68.81.86.24 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.is-dir.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/98338 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98338/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98338/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98338/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98338/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98338/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98338/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98338 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/98338 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
