Is there a reason why unlocking nowadays has to be done manually? It cant be good for stability to put that demand on the programmer. Locks created by the system call flock(2) is unlocked if you use the system call close(2) so all php has to do is to rely on those. Locks are also unlocked if processes terminates. ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 78.70.74.30 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.flock.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/98350 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98350/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98350/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98350/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98350/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98350/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98350/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/98350 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/98350 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
