CLARIFICATION:
The note in the explanation of this function specifies
"If the query returns multiple results then it is necessary to fetch all results by
mssql_next_result() or free the results by mssql_free_result() before executing next query."
What seems to be implied is that data will not return.
When using mssql_query() you must use mssql_free_result() or some data might not be returned. In my
case only the FIRST ROW of data was not returned upon second use of mssql_fetch_array. All the other
thousands of rows of data where returned.
Again, us mssql_free_result()
Prior to using any other query function accept mssql_next_result() even when the query is the same
query previously ran
This may not be needed for those of you who actually pay attention to the Notes (I thought I did but
missed this anyway)
