Basic cURL file or page download with basic error trapping.
I think instead of && there should be || in the function cURLcheckBasicFunctions()
If even a single cURL function isn't defined, it would return false through function_exists().
An ! (exclamation) makes toggles it to true and hence no need to extend further, immediately return
false from cURLcheckBasicFunctions().
This is done when || is there and not &&
