Forthose curious, the exact escaping performed on the string may vary slightly depending on your database configuration. For example, if your database's standard_conforming_strings variable is OFF, backslashes are treated as a special character and pg_escape_string() will ensure they are properly escaped. If this variable is ON, backslashes will be treated as ordinary characters, and pg_escape_string() will leave them as-is. In either case, the behavior matches the configuration of the database connection. ---- Server IP: 208.69.120.55 Probable Submitter: 71.54.198.140 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.pg-escape-string.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/99023 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/99023/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/99023/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/99023/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/99023/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/99023/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/99023/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/99023 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/99023 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
