I couldn't get the example of extracting files to work, had to change it to :-
$rar_file = rar_open($rarfile);
if ($rar_file === FALSE) die("Could not open RAR $rarfile archive.");
$list = rar_list($rar_file);
if ($list === FALSE) die("Could retrieve entries in RAR file $rarfile");
foreach($list as $entry) {
$xentry = rar_entry_get($rar_file, $entry->getName());
$xentry->extract($dest); // extract to the current dir
}
rar_close($rar_file);
