note 99310 added to function.imagerotate

Hi, I am running php5.2.4 and gd2 under ubuntu5.10, getting following error Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagerotate(). I have seen couple of great alternative for the imagerotate but they only work with absolute angle like 90, 180 etc. But I need the function to rotate image at acute angles like 5 degrees, 21 degrees etc. Any ideas for that?
