spikeles_ at hotmail dot com : If you use gzcompress() and gzuncompress(), then these functions are
compatible with the Java Inflater class.
Your tip worked well for uncompressing data, but when I had to compress data with PHP and uncompress
it in Java, I kept getting 'Unexpected end of ZLIB stream' exceptions because as well as
the two byte header there is a four byte footer which gzinflate/gzdeflate don't produce, but
gzcompress/gzuncompress do.
