Dont forget to run your apache php server under a specific user id, and never root. If you run your
apache as root, you are only asking for trouble. The previous notes from those who deleted all
files on their host by accident could have been avoided if the web server was run as a user such as
"www" or "wwwadmin". Then you will only affect the web server specific content
that was created by the web server and not your entire system. Most modern distributions already
run apache as a non-root user.
