it is really a pity - we lack documentation on php-openssl:
for me a script seems to work as supposed but
openssl_error_string moans about:
error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory
error:2006D080:BIO routines:BIO_new_file:no such file
error:0E064002:configuration file routines:CONF_load:system lib
error:0E06D06C:configuration file routines:NCONF_get_string:no value
error:0E06D06C:configuration file routines:NCONF_get_string:no value
I mean OK I can and have to live with that - ignoring it as long as the script does what it is
supposed to.
But the problem is: due to lack of documentation on php - openssl people are tapping in the
openssl_error_string dealing with errors that are not of concern to them.
IMPORTANT THINGS:
provide $configargs
within configargs set
config to your_path_to/openssl.cnf
typecast these arguments and make sure they are integer values
private_key_bits = (int)1024;
private_key_type = (int)OPENSSL_KEYTYPE_RSA;
Be aware that an empty passphrase is not just an empty string but has to be NULL !!!
