I just want to let people know of my findings of testing MySQLi VS standard SQL Query.
Overall: I tested running 99,999 Rows in the database to the browser, testing on my local laptop
machine and my Server Down in the states.
LOCAL MACHINE:
Standard SQL == (avg load = 3.304sec)
Standard SQL == (avg mem = 95.18 KB)
MySQLi == (avg load = 3.513sec)
MySQLi == (avg mem = 96.59 KB)
MEDIA TEMPLE:
Standard SQL == (avg load = .984sec)
Standard SQL == (avg mem = 83.11 KB)
MySQLi == (avg load = 1.295sec)
MySQLi == (avg mem = 82.38 KB)
So Really, my thought is, why is MySQLi slower???
