Just to note that the PHP SOAP Client object does not respond well to being serialized.
I wanted to persist a SOAP object during a session, so I tried to serialize object in $_SESSION and
then deserialize it in subsequent page loads.
Unfortunately, this does not work: The object does serialize, but the resulting string does not
contain anything like enough detail to successfully reconstruct the object in a useable form.
