TO SOLVE the problem of Apache´s crash when you install PHP 5.x over Apache 2.2.x on Windows
Systems:
Review the extensions you enable on PHP.ini:
If Apache try to start and an extension over PHP.ini could not get run - example: like Sybase
extension when you don´t have the Sybase intalled over your system - the web server will crash
and not get ready.
Make sure that you just have the NECESSARY extensions enabled on PHP.ini. The unnecessary extension
must be disabled by ';' on the beginning of the line. Example:
To disable the Sybase extension, just put ';' at the beginning of the dll call.

;extension=php_sybase_ct.dll
When you have just the NECESSARY extensions, for sure your Apache Server will start.
