This is bad OOP practice. Static variables and objects are called static because they are "static". They are initiated once and they shouldn't be modified later. As long as PHP does not need to be compiled there is no compiler that could complain about this, but still this is just a misinterpretation of a static context. ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 84.139.64.226 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.oop5.late-static-bindings.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/103262 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/103262/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/103262/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/103262/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/103262/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/103262/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/103262/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/103262 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/103262 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
