Why does this perform an insert twice?
<?php
$mysqli = new mysqli("localhost", "user", "pass", "db");
if (mysqli_connect_errno()) {
printf("Connect failed: %s\n", mysqli_connect_error());
exit();
}
if ($mysqli->query("CALL SomeStoredProcThatInserts('someTextData')") ===
TRUE) {
printf("Success!");
}
$mysqli->close();
?>
It doesn't matter whether the query is "insert into table(col)
values('someval')" or calls a stored proc. I always get the insert twice.
