If your DBAs are complaining of Oracle back end errors like:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kpolcbLobRead1: invalid len & bufp], [], [], [], [],
[], [], [], [], [], [], []
Using Pablo's method of reading the lob in 2k chunks resolves it.
