In the PHP Manual it is said that: "$a === $b Identical TRUE if $a is equal to $b, and they are of the same type. (introduced in PHP 4)" But when I test like that: <?php $A=4; $B = '4' - '0'; echo '$A === $B '; echo $A === $B?"true":"false"; //Out put $A === $B true ?> I think $A and $B do not have same type, but there are in same values. Is that a bugs? I need help with this. ---- Server IP: 222.73.207.145 Probable Submitter: 127.0.0.1 (proxied: 180.136.76.153) ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.operators.comparison.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/104683 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104683/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104683/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104683/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104683/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104683/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104683/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104683 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/104683 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
