This is kinda weird to me as it is not obvious behavior.... Initiating constructor having no arguments, using call with parameters will not throw error/warning. <?php class A { # no arguments constructor function __construct() { echo "WierdoO"; } } $param = 1; $a = new A( $param ); ?> // Output "WierdoO" Notice that this anomaly is observed only for No Argument Constructor case. ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 24.114.255.3 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.oop5.decon.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/104815 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104815/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104815/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104815/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104815/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104815/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104815/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/104815 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/104815 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
