What if you *aren't* configuring PHP from source, but instead installing it from RPM? Then you
don't get to specify --with-mysql= anywhere, right?
PHP.net links to binary distribution site for 5.2 on http://dl.iuscommunity.org/pub/ius/stable/Redhat/5/x86_64/repoview/development.languages.group.html
Downloaded following RPMs:
php52-5.2.17-1.ius.el5.x86_64.rpm
php52-cli-5.2.17-1.ius.el5.x86_64.rpm
php52-common-5.2.17-1.ius.el5.x86_64.rpm
php52-dba-5.2.17-1.ius.el5.x86_64.rpm
php52-mysql-5.2.17-1.ius.el5.x86_64.rpm
php52-pdo-5.2.17-1.ius.el5.x86_64.rpm
MySQL isn't installed on this host. Can I just install the mysql-connector libraries and
somehow tell PHP where to find the libraries, or do I have to do a full (and unneeded) MySQL
install?
