As of version 5.3.3 PHP does not recognize CUBRID-Connection resource. CUBRID is an open source
RDBMS. I am trying to port existing PHP app to work with CUBRID. It has the following code.
$conn = cubrid_connect('localhost', 33000, 'demodb');
$resType = get_resource_type($conn); // Returns "Unknown"
if (is_resource($conn) || is_object($conn))
{
// does not enter here.
return $conn;
}
else if ($conn){
// on successful connection, it enters this block.
return $conn;
}
else{
return false;
}
Even though CUBRID-Connection is a resource, it is not recognized as a resource. Hope in future
releases you will add CUBRID as one of the PHP resources.
