For Sybase ASE on Linux, do this:
1.) Install tdsodbc package. (containing /usr/lib/odbc/libtdsodbc.so and odbcinst.ini)
2.) copy odbcinst.ini to /etc
3.) $conn =
odbc_connect("Driver=FreeTDS;Server=127.0.0.1;Port=5033;Database=unittest","sa","");
