Read the section on apc.shm_size carefully. Despite the table listing the default as "32M"
the actual default would be "32". The value is already specified in megabytes unlike many
PHP configuration values. You should NOT specify it with the "M" suffix. That is, for a 32
megabyte size, use:
apc.shm_size=32
NOT
apc.shm_size=32M
As you may expect.
