Really thanks to Joe Engel. This information no where clearly specified.
Php is not executing the exe that involves in GUI actions. So you have to run your Apache in
minimized mode so that your php will execute the exe even it involves in GUI actions.
Here are the instructions to run Apache as stand alone application so that we can run it in
minimized window.
1. Start -> Run -> services.msc [Press Enter Key]
2. At the top you can find the [Apache2] service, select that service, [Right click] and goto
[Properties].
3. You can find [Startup type] list box and select [Manual], then click [Ok]
4. Now you have to find [Apache.exe], this will be available in installation location, usually this
will be at ['C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\bin'].
5. Hope you have located the [Apache.exe].
6. Create a short cut to this exe, [Right click] on the [Apache.exe] (Send to -> Desktop(create
shortcut))
7. Goto desktop and [copy or cut] the (Shortcut to Apache.exe) better rename this to Apache.
8. Goto Start-> All Programs -> Shortcut -> Right Click -> Open
9. This will open the shortcut folder, and [paste] the (Shortcut to Apache.exe) here.
10. [Right Click] on the (Shortcut to Apache.exe) and goto [Properties].
11. You can see the option [Run : Normal Window] in a list box. Change it to [Run : Minimized] and
click [OK].
12. It is recommended to [restart your system] to check whether it is working or not.
13 After restart you can see a program [Apache] running in a task bar as stand alone process as in
minimized window.
Note : Please consult your Network or System Administrator before doing this if you are not sure
with this.
Good Luck,
thala
