I'm not sure about all versions of this but on PHP 4.0.5 and above if you simply pass the MySQL
YYYY-MM-DD 'DATE' field to it, it will accept it.<P>
strtotime("01/05/2001");<BR>
strtotime("2001-01-05");<P>
Those two both return the same value.
