note 15870 added to function.imagecreatetruecolor

PNG supports more than 256 colours, but GD seems to output only 256 colour images. How do I convert the true colour palette to 256 colours one without using the new function for that, i.e. with a custom function. Has anybody seen anything like that? It should be able to interpolate the colours, etc. -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.imagecreatetruecolor.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+15870 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+15870 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+15870
