note 15901 added to ref.mssql

Could anyone please help me. I'm running MSSQL 7.0, Xitami Web Server [For Development], and PHP 4.0.6, I connect with the client on localhost and it connects fine, ive edited php.ini so it sees the extension php_mssql.dll [there is no php_mssql70.dll in 4.0.6] even with a die statement all i ever get is Parse Errors.
