can anyone please help me in the following coding:
if($da1=="yes")
{
if($co1=="M.Phil or equivalent")
{
$api= 3;
}
elseif($co1=="M.Phil or equivalent" && $ts1=="Yes")
{
$api= 10;
}
elseif($co1=="Ph.D or equivalent")
{
$api= 10;
}
elseif($co1=="Ph.D or equivalent" && $ts1=="Yes")
{
$api= 17;
}
}
in this i want to move the value of $api into the database..but the if else statement doesn't
work..i think because of the sentence type value of $co1..but i want these values as it is..i mean
that i cant change "PH.D or equivallent" value because this value has to be passed in the
databse as it is..so please help me anysolution for this.
