Apache 2.2.16.0 failed to start after installing PHP 5.2.14
I won't say how much time I wasted disregarding bdav's solution (2012-03-05), but I
eventually ran out of my own ideas.
So I changed the double-quotes in PHPIniDir to single-quotes, and changed the forward slashes (/) to
backslashes (\) - and Apache fired up instantly.
