If, after, you run the following command from above:
"
cscript %windir%\system32\inetsrv\fcgiconfig.js -add -section:"PHP" ^
-extension:php -path:"C:\PHP\php-cgi.exe"
"
you get the following error/message:
"
C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\fcgiconfig.js(1348, 5) (null): 0xFFFFFFDF
"
then re-run the command with the correct quotation as follows:
"
cscript %windir%\system32\inetsrv\fcgiconfig.js -add -section:"PHP" ^
-extension:"php" -path:"C:\PHP\php-cgi.exe"
"
It is just a typo in the PHP.net documentation above. Using the cscript help shows, illustrates the
problem.
This threw me for a while.
