PhoneixS 13-May-2011 05:09 - Update : integers and floats are converted for the purpose of measuring
the string length. But the original variables are left unaltered.
$howdy = 101;
$new = strlen($howdy);
var_dump($howdy); // int(101) - notice, its still an integer
var_dump($new); // int(3)
