note 108839 added to function.ldap-bind

Unfortunately this very simple script is just not working for me. I tried to connect to my ubuntu 10.04 OpenLDAP2.4.23 server (which is running without a problem) with both the authenticated and the anonymous and I always get "ldap bind failed" message. The funniest part is that I can connect with out a problem from phpldapadmin (both anonymous and authenticated) but when I try to copy-paste the code above and run it, it just doesn't work.
