Is there a formal way to suppress the error messages from a failed ifx_query() function? The
workaround I'm using is:
echo "<!--\n";
ifx_query("DROP TABLE date_list", $dbh);
echo "-->\n";
The date_list table is a temporary table that won't exist, in general. By using the echo
commands on either side, I conceal the error output (-206: the sepcificed table does not exist in
the database) in an HTML comment, but it doesn't feel very clean.
