The documentation states that \h and \v work as of PHP 5.2.4. This is incorrect: I have PHP 5.3.3
with PCRE version 6.6 and these "escape sequences" are matching literal 'h' and
'v' without any kind of warning.
According to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7882890/php-preg-replace-ignoring-h-and-v-flags
PCRE version 7.2 is required. You can check with phpinfo() what version of PCRE you are using.
