After trying to get the MySQL PDO driver installed on my Windows machine and searching quite a bit
of info, it was a combination of 3 things
- First, I had to uncomment the extension_dir line in php.ini to read: extension_dir =
"ext"
- Second, I had to uncomment the pdo mysql extension line in php.ini to read:
extension=php_pdo_mysql.dll
- Last I had to add my PHP install folder (C:\WebServices\PHP in my case) to the PATH Environment
variable in Windows.
After doing those things I rebooted the machine, but restarting apache may have been enough.
Worked after that. Hope that helps someone down the line.
This was tested on both Vista and Win7x64
Mike
