Reading the post from NeoSmart Technologies inspired me to write this and point out that the _SERVER
variable HTTP_X_REWRITE_URL might be a work around for some IIS users doing URL rewrites.
$requestUri = (is_null($_SERVER['HTTP_X_REWRITE_URL'])) ?
$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] : $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REWRITE_URL'];
